I began baking and cooking when I was very young, sharing memories in the kitchen with my mom and grandma's.  I am a native Texan who is a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and professional.  A few years ago, several friends urged me to take this quiet passion/hobby "to a higher level" and my family quickly supported it as an opportunity to share a gift to make other's events as special as what we grew up with. The Gourmet Whisk takes seriously that "it must taste as good as it looks" and that is where it starts-each recipe is tested and then custom crafted to look "too good to eat."
